Born and raised in Macomb County. Pat Rooney attended Fraser High School. Obtained Paramedic training and earned an Associate’s Degree from Macomb Community College. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Oakland University. And went on to earn his Law Degree from Wayne State University and has been practicing law since 1994.
While at Wayne State University, Pat was a member of Law Review, MOOT Court, Student Trial Advocacy Program and Free Legal Aid. He scored in top 1% on admission exam to the Michigan State Bar. Served in the U.S. Army in Germany as a Combat Engineer, after which he was Honorably Discharged.
Pat also served as a Paramedic for 5 years. As an attorney, he has obtained personal injury verdicts and settlements in Macomb, Oakland, Wayne and other Michigan Counties.
